As we embark on a new academic year, make sure to take advantage of Columbia Transportation’s commute and travel resources that are available to you.
Beginning Thursday, September 1, Evening Shuttle service will begin at 6:00 P.M. for the fall season. Corner-to-corner service will run from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and door-to-door service will run from 8:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M.
The new Fall 2022 schedule is now available for the Intercampus Shuttle. All other shuttle schedules will remain unchanged for this semester.
The service provided over 160,000 safe rides for Columbians over the academic year and averaged just over a 15-minute wait time.

Beginning Tuesday, June 21, Evening Shuttle service will begin at 8:00 P.M. for the summer season. All service will be door-to-door and will run until 3:00 A.M.
The Intercampus Shuttle summer schedule will begin on Monday, May 23. The last day of the Academic Year schedule will be Saturday, May 21.
We’re writing to inform you of some additions to the Intercampus Shuttle service, including new stops and expanded evening hours. Beginning Monday, April 18, the following changes will take effect.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch for New York City and its surrounding areas, in effect beginning Friday, January 28 through Saturday evening (January 29).
As part of our continual effort to optimize service, we’ve expanded the coverage area for the Evening Shuttle (powered by Via).
Starting January 10, 2022, the Manhattanville Loop shuttle, which runs between the Manhattanville and Morningside Heights campuses, will operate from 7:20 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. on weekdays throughout the academic year, including summer.
As the end of the year draws near, we’re writing to make sure you are aware of adjustments to the Intercampus and Lamont shuttles during winter break.
Beginning Wednesday, December 1, Evening Shuttle service will begin at 4:00 P.M. for the winter season. Corner-to-corner service will run from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and door-to-door service will run from 8:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M.
Columbia University added 15 parking spaces to the park and ride program at its Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory campus, bringing the total to 36 spaces. The program allows Columbia employees living in the Rockland County area to give up their car commute to Columbia’s Morningside and Manhattanville campuses by parking at Lamont and catching the free Columbia Transportation shuttle.
