Mass Transit

According to the MTA, mass transit helps New Yorkers avoid about 17 million metric tons of pollutants while emitting only 2 million metric tons, making it perhaps the single biggest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) avoidance in the United States

About 60 percent of Columbia arrives by mass transit each day—that’s about 30,000 people!

Visit the MTA website for subway, bus, Metro-North and Long Island Railroad schedules and service announcements.
