At its annual International Conference – held this year in New York City – the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) presented Columbia University with an award for “Best Overall Program” in transportation demand management (TDM).

The League of American Bicyclists has honored Columbia with a Silver-level Bicycle Friendly University award in recognition of the institution’s achievements in promoting and enabling safe, accessible bicycling on campus.

On October 22, 2014, the League of American Bicyclists recognized Columbia University with a Bronze Bicycle Friendly University (BFUSM) award, joining 100 visionary colleges and universities from across the country.
