New University Car Service Provider: Elite Limousine Plus

Elite was chosen for its superior service in ground transportation, as well as the following highlights: 

• Elite has the largest NYC fleet among the service providers reviewed, with 600+ vehicles. 

• Car service is available in cities nationwide.  

• Advanced software capabilities offered to enhance rider service, like automated driver assignments, GPS route mapping, and customer messaging.  

• Additional services include package delivery.  

• Coming soon, a mobile app for booking. 

What You Need to Know  

• Car service requires vouchers or a VIP number to book transportation.  

• Columbia schools and departments who wish to use Elite should request voucher numbers. New vouchers may be requested now for travel starting July 1.  

• Eligible staff members who wish to request a VIP number can register now. Check with your Department Financial Administrator to determine eligibility. 

• No action is required for current VIP users, who will use their existing VIP number with Elite.  

• Luxury Worldwide Transportation, the current provider, can be utilized as necessary through Sunday, June 30, 2024. After this date, all car service requests should be made with Elite. Columbia Transportation will not process any Luxury invoices after this date, departments will be responsible for any subsequent charges.
