Locations and Rates

24/7 parking and Morningside Commuter payroll deductions are made each semimonthly pay period. If you park during that pay period, you will be charged for the full half month.

Manhattanville Commuter parking charges are based on a daily basis (as per the University’s commitments for that campus).

Manhattan Resident Parking Tax Exemption

Parkers who are Manhattan residents may be eligible for an exemption from the 8% Borough of Manhattan tax. Manhattan Resident Parking Tax Exemption applications (both an online version and a mail-in form) are available from the NYC Department of Finance. Upon approval, a Parking Tax Exemption Certificate will be mailed to you by the Department of Finance. Please send a copy of the certificate to the Parking Office by mail, email, or fax (see Contact Us page). As per Department of Finance policy, you must apply for renewals - you should receive a reminder notice from the DOF, but please note that the Parking Office cannot apply on your behalf and is required to collect the additional tax if a renewal certificate is not submitted to the Parking Office. Please see the Manhattan Resident Parking Tax Exemption Brochure for more details. There is no exemption available for the remaining tax.

The $25 per vehicle rate applies for the first 30 vehicles parked for a seminar. After 30 vehicles, special event parking rates will apply.

For 4-5 days/week, the full-time rate of $265.78/month applies. The rates above are monthly; for full semester cost, multiply by 4 for Fall (September to December), 5 for Spring (January to May), and 3 for Summer (June to August)..
